Summary
The Processing Assistant Manager - Regulated is primarily responsible for assisting in oversight of high-volume quality control, packaging and labeling of ready to use cannabis products. This position conducts day-to-day operations within the Processing Center, including training of detailed trimming and weighing of cannabis to ensure quality of product and workplace
 – Processors, assuring company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved. In addition, the Processing Assistant Manager – Regulated oversees all processing center staff and reports the Processing General Manager– Regulated.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor
  • Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
  • Oversee product quality; including, monitoring contaminants and taking appropriate action to correct quality issues
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all confidential information
  • Read and interpret all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures and documentation
  • Coordinate with Managers and production staff to maintain par levels of finished product by reporting low levels
  • Responsible for determining quality of product and managing day-to-day operations
  • Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies and regulatory agency compliance
  • Oversight of cleanliness and organization of facility, including verifying items and supplies, and that sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing restrooms are completed daily
  • Report inventory totals to management to determine distribution needs for each retail location
  • Oversight of cleanliness and organization in processing storage areas and office
  • Assist in development and initiation of GMP standards within cannabis
  • Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
  • Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
  • Fill scheduled shifts with productive, useful activity, including cleaning, stocking, researching, organizing or completing any other tasks to contribute to company success
  • All other job duties as assigned
 
Qualifications Education
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing preferred
Training
  • Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
Required Skills & Experience
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • 1+ year experience with METRCTM program usage or any seed-to-sale tracking software
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
  • Retail, operations, sales or quality assurance experience a plus
Other Requirements Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise level
  • Must be able to work in retail, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions. May require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed
  • Must be able to acquire MED Key badge ($300 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment
