Summary  

The Regulated Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing 3rd Party Regulated logistics activities for the company. In addition, to assist the Regulated Manager of managing logistics tasks and leading a group of individuals to reduce costs and increase company profitability. The Regulated Assistant Manager will oversee 3rd Party movements to retail facilities in addition to the compliance, security, and safety of regulated, unregulated, and raw material supply movements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Adheres to company mission statement and core values and maintains high ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions
  • Create and implement policies, processes, procedures and tools specific to the distribution/transportation teams
  • Design, develop, and manage software and physical systems to meeting shipping and tactical goals
  • Ensure all 3rd Party regulatory and compliance measures are met
  • Assist Regulated Manager and analyze internal supply/chain processes from cultivation/manufacturing to retail locations
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Partner with Inventory Specialist(s) to create and enforce chain of custody accuracy
  • Manage store to store transfers for regulated product
  • Assist with wholesale fulfillment processes and 3rd party pickups
  • Audit operations to ensure service standards are being met
  • Actively participate in the training efforts, and coach junior logistics staff
  • Take part in the hiring process with Regulated Manager, develop strategies to increase client satisfaction, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results
  • Use analytical skills to reduce company downtime due to logistics issues, and escalate problems as required All other tasks and job duties as assigned

Qualifications 
Education  

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelorís degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field 

Training  

  • Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management

Required Skills & Experience  

  • 3+ years of Management experience in multi-unit logistics
  • Experience reporting to Executive level management
  • Must have experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software
  • Must possess a comprehensive working knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and transportation in a developing, complex SKU environment.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, HIPAA, and CDPHE requirements
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent influential, collaborative, and relationship building skills
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
  • High level attention to detail

Physical Requirements  

  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements  

  • Must be able to work in an office environment with moderate to loud noise level
  • Must be able to work off-site in retail, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions; May require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed
  • Must have and be able to maintain valid driverís license
  • Must be able to acquire MED Key badge ($300 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment

 Travel Requirements  

  • Occasionally requires local travel, as needed.
