Production Assistant

Summary
The Production Assistant is primarily responsible for overseeing the organization and production of all print related materials for TGS Management, The Green Solution retail stores, The Green Solution cultivation facilities, NectarBee and S-Type Armored.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times
  • Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
  • Create and produce all printed material in-house
  • Send all printed material that cannot currently be produced in-house to outside vendors
  • Track label back stock and order as necessary
  • Track printer ink and copier toner back stock and order as necessary for production space
  • Track paper (heavy weight papers, vinyls, large format printer papers) back stock and order as necessary
  • Install signage and decals in retail locations when needed
  • Print and cut business cards/flyers/postcards
  • Deliver items to retail locations when needed
  • Organize production room and maintain a clean working environment
  • Assist with events as needed

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelorís degree in Graphic Design or equivalent field is beneficial, but not required

Training

  • Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of printing and sign production experience
  • Familiarity with computer graphics and design software required, including Adobe CC Applications
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Knowledge of basic pre-press/printing practices and print layout optimization
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
  • Retail, operations and/or sales experience a plus

Other Requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements

  • Must be able to work in an office environment with moderate to loud noise level
  • Must be able to acquire MED Support badge ($150 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment
