Facilities Maintenance Associate (Trinidad)

Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all retail and cultivation locations. The Facilities Maintenance Associate assists with ensuring that presentation and functionality meet or exceed TGS Management and state law regulations. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Associate delivers, assembles, and installs company furniture/equipment and is responsible for maintaining organization within the maintenance storage facility. A high level of attention to detail is required as associates will be asked to work around security infrastructure, avoiding business operation disruptions and adhering to security policies for all facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform regularly-scheduled facility maintenance at all retail and cultivation locations
  • Adhere to maintenance calendar and timeline
  • Respond to all maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all working conditions are safe and operational at all times
  • Clean work area once work is complete, including excess supplies, returning facility tools to designated storage locations, and/or removing of all tools from the site
  • Responsible for all snow/ice removal duties as well as annual striping, seal coating and pothole repair in parking lots
  • Responsible for localized drain cleaning
  • Maintain all lighting equipment and supplies for replacement
  • Assist in ensuring that the maintenance storage facility is consistently kept clean and tidy
  • Preserve paint color lists for all locations
  • Comply with the security policy of all facilities
  • All other tasks and job duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Training

  • Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
  • Must maintain current knowledge in facility maintenance and upkeep for all retail and cultivation facilities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent mechanical, landscaping, plumbing, and handyman skills
  • Excellent influential, collaborative, and relationship building skills
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
  • High level attention to detail


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in roofing, landscaping, or plumbing preferred
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Ability to task prioritize with shifting workload in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred

Other Requirements
Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements

  • Must be able to work in various retail and cultivation environments with moderate to loud noise level
  • Must use all required safety equipment or personal protective equipment
  • Must be able to acquire MED Support badge ($75 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment

Travel Requirements

  • Occasionally requires local travel, as needed.
