Recruiter - Needed ASAP

Summary-

The Recruiter is responsible for seasonal hiring for our Trinidad grow facility. This will require high volume recruiting and meeting specific timelines and goals to meet hiring needs. The Recruiter will screen, interview, hire, assist with on-boarding and manage the hiring manager relationship. The  Recruiter will partner with the VP HR and the Corporate Talent Team to set goals, monitor/adjust strategies, communicate with and update Executives, and report on results.

This position will begin February 4, 2019 and is based and will work out of our TGS retail store location in Pueblo, CO. The Recruiter will earn a base salary and have the ability to earn additional incentives if hiring goals are met.

Contract time frame: February – November - Potential for full time opportunity with TGS

Responsibilities-

o Partner with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team and facility hiring manager to identify hiring needs, timeline for hiring, seasonal scheduling needs, length of season, and skills/qualifications required.

o Identify, screen, and qualified candidates based on qualifications provided by the hiring manager and outlined in job descriptions.

o Assist with job requisition / description development

o Acquire a thorough understanding of job requisition / description for required competencies, skills, knowledge required of successful applicants

o Maintain knowledge of how many resumes need to be generated for open positions

* Identify and implement sourcing strategies based upon the job position by creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources including social media, local newspaper ads, Craig’s List, etc.

o Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline using research, networking, database mining, etc. for prospective applicants

o Manage referral sources

o Use a variety of technical tools to identify and attract a high qualified pool of candidates

o Manage job requisitions, applicants, and candidate flow.

o Review and screen applicants on a daily basis

o Generate recruitment metric reports both manually and using applicant tracking system

o Utilize ATS step process to manage candidate through pipeline

o Provide Hiring Manager with updates and summaries of recruiting progress and activity

o Work with Hiring Manager to determine best fit candidates, coordinate interviews, receive timely feedback and present/manage offers

o Conduct recruitment related meetings as needed

* Organize and manage hiring and onboarding process

o Partner with hiring manager to make offers, set start dates, schedule NHOs

o Participate in onboarding tasks as needed (i.e. final paperwork completion)

Required Education

o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Required Experience

o Experience in a high volume, fast-paced, seasonal recruitment environment

o 3+ years of recruiting experience required

o Experience in cannabis industry preferred

Required Technical/ Functional Skills

o Internet and social media experience including job boards, job posting and networking

o Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a variety of recruitment strategies to include cold calling and direct sourcing

o  Ability to work remotely

o  Ability to take initiative and complete tasks goals with little guidance

o  Ability to manage self to meet deadlines and goals

o Understanding of recruiting metrics

o Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

o  Ability to build effective relationships with recruiting team and candidates

o Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve while maintaining flexibility

o  Strong customer orientation

o  Experience working within various applicant-tracking systems (ATS)

o  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information such as job descriptions, business articles, etc.

o  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, executives, candidates and the public

o  Strong oral and written communication skills

o  Works effectively and collaboratively in a team environment

Travel-

Frequent travel between company facilities required, specifically from Pueblo to Trinidad. Travel between Pueblo on occasion
