Catalog Manager

The Catalog Manager is primarily responsible for analyzing, collecting, sorting, creating, and providing a reliable source of multi-system data. This role’s primary focus is the retail network’s stock keeping units and planning nodes. Additionally, the Catalog Manager supports TGS retail staff regarding all internal point-of-sale system issues and interfaces with other departments to handle all requests for changes or additions. The Catalog Manager also facilitates internal training and updates for usage of the POS system. The Catalog Manager reports to the Director of Procurement, who oversees the entire Procurement Department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Coordinate information for regulated and unregulated products in both NAV and Motaworks 

• Synchronize POS inventory systems 

• Build out code information and ensure systems are working accordingly 

• Expedite movement of all SKUs from creation to submit to final posting within Motaworks point-of-sale system 

• Work in conjunction with Product Manager (support) 

• Assist in product description creation and entry of new products into Motaworks 

• Coordinate with Operations Managers at all retail locations to develop bit fit for local solutions for their most consistent POS concerns 

• Manage all product information in NAV and Motaworks 

• Monitor grow logs and manufacturing queues to facilitate timely delivery for expectations 

• Update New Product Work Flow progress on a weekly basis 

• Utilize project management software to track progress on new product workflow 

• Interface with other departments to handle all product-related requests for change and additions as it relates to product relations within the system 

• Responsible for understanding and communicating system and software requirements to users 

• Be fluent in the stage gating process, NAV, and Motaworks 

• Consolidate Sample Panel data • Design, develop, maintain, manage, and report on databases and data updates 

• Design data tracking and monitoring tools 

• Provide support for data management activities and attend relevant meetings as the expert

• Coordinate data implementation team and act as lead point of contact with internal management teams 

• Clean and ensure accuracy and integrity of data 

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP software is essential 

• All other tasks and job duties as assigned 



• High School Diploma or GED required 

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a technology field

• Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management Required Skills & Experience 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field 

• Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills 

• High level attention to detail, administrative skills, problem-solving skills, and highly organized 

• Ability to follow establish company protocol for equipment use allocation 

• Excellent influential, collaborative, and relationship building skills 

Preferred Skills & Experience 

• E-commerce database management • Retail, operations, and/or security experience a plus 

• At least 1 year of professional experience with database creation and maintenance 

• At least 1 year of experience coordinating multiple departments in a professional production environment 

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a shifting workload in a fast-paced environment 

• Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities 

• Cannabis industry experience preferred Other Requirements 

Physical Requirements 

• Must be able to individually lift up to 25 lbs. 

• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

• Must be able to work in an office environment with moderate to loud noise level 

• Must be able to acquire MED Key badge ($250 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment Travel Requirements
